Kids Euro Festival – Live Event with the Embassy of Finland
School of Gaming: Create your own Finland in Minecraft in partnership with National Children’s Museum.
Do you know where Finland, the happiest country in the world, is located? In Europe, of course! But do you know where Finland is also located during the Kids Euro Festival? Well, in Minecraft! Come and learn about gaming, creativity and Finland!
School of Gaming aims at teaching kids problem solving, creativity, critical thinking and social skills with the help of gaming and professional game educators. At Kids Euro Festival, School of Gaming provides children as gamers with the opportunity to build their own piece of Finland in Minecraft with the help of a game educator. While building their own lot of land in virtual Finland, gamers will learn about Finland, Finnish language and culture in an entertaining and captivating way. The gaming session practices creativity, positive communication, and recognizing one’s own strengths.
Anyone is welcome to play, but please register via Eventbrite. The sessions will open 10 minutes before the live gaming starts, and you can join them by following this link: sog.gg/eurokids.
Those who do not have access to a computer with a Minecraft license can follow the gaming session via a livestream on YouTube.
