worldwide day of play
Play is powerful, and at the Museum it fuels curiosity in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. On September 30, we’ll celebrate play with all day programming as part of Nickelodeon’s Worldwide Day of Play!
Join us for special pop-up programs that will inspire creativity for all ages. Plus, stop by the Tinkerers Studio to build 3D structures with local artist Isaiah Aladejobi. Using Isaiah’s unique Kole building blocks, which are based in part on DC architecture and design, visitors will work together to build objects they encounter in real life or their imaginations.
About Worldwide Day of Play
Worldwide Day of Play is part of Nickelodeon’s Our World global initiative to inspire kids and provide them with tools to activate their individual and collective agency. It is administered by the Association of Children’s Museum.
